Nios Admission Opne Block 1 For April Exam
The admission process for the academic session at NIOS is currently open for both Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) courses. You can submit your application online directly through the NIOS SDMIS portal. or contact the admission counselors at 'Growth Education Points' for assistance with your Class 10 or 12 Admission.
Basic Eligibility Criteria
• Class 10 (Secondary): You must be at least 14 years old and have passed Class 8 (or provide a self-certificate stating you have studied enough to pursue secondary education).
• Class 12 (Senior Secondary): You must be at least 15 years old and submit a valid pass certificate of Class 10 from a recognized board.
Required Document
For 10th Class
1. Photograph
2. Signature
3. Identity Proof: Valid Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Ration Card.
4. Address Proof: Aadhaar Card, Electricity Bill, Water Bill, or Rent Agreement.
5. 8th/9th Class Transfer Certificate (T.C), or School Leaving Certificate or Birth Certificate,
6. A Self-Certificate (only if you have never gone to a formal school) stating you have studied enough privately and are fit to pursue Class 10.
7. Caste Certificate: Required if you belong to SC, ST, or OBC categories for a relaxation in processing fees.
For 12th Class
1. 10th Class Marksheet/Certificate
2. Photograph
3. Signature
4. Identity Proof: Valid Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Ration Card.
5. Address Proof: Aadhaar Card, Electricity Bill, Water Bill, or Rent Agreement.
6. Caste Certificate: Required if you belong to SC, ST, or OBC categories for a relaxation in processing fees.
Last date of Nios Admission Block Session
 31 July : Last date to apply with a normal fee.
 1 August – 15 August : Late fee of ₹260 applies.
 16 August – 31 August : Late fee of ₹520 applies.
 1 September – 15 September : Late fee of ₹910 applies
